Raiders host Seahawks in London for Week 6 Matchup

The date is set and the Oakland Raiders will host the Seattle Seahawks in the first-ever game at Tottenham Stadium in a Week 6 matchup. Raiders release punter Marquette King

The Oakland Raiders roster overhaul continued on Friday with a surprising move. The club announced that they have released punter Marquette King. King has been with the team for six seasons after signing with the club as an undrafted free agent in 2012. During his six-year career he has appeared in 80 games, recorded 426 punts while averaging 46.8 yards. He has also pinned opponents inside the 20-yard line 156 times with 33 touchbacks. Raiders sign veteran cornerback

The Oakland Raiders continued to overhaul the defensive side of their roster, signing cornerback Leon Hall. The veteran cornerback spent his first nine seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before making stops with the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. New Raiders defensive coordinator Paul Guenther served as his coach with the Bengals in 2014 and 2015. Hall has played in 142 games (108 starts), totaling 563 tackles, 27 interceptions with three touchdowns, 115 passes defensed, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Raiders add another linebacker

The Oakland Raiders continued to add to their defensive roster and special teams on Wednesday, signing free agent linebacker Emmanuel Lamur. Lamur is entering his seventh season after spending his first six years with the Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals. During that time, Lamur has played in 71 games with 15 starts and posted 90 tackles, .5 sacks, two interceptions, 12 passes defensed, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries . The 6-foot-4, 245-pound linebacker appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and made eight tackles, recorded one pass defensed and one fumble recovery. The Oakland Raiders re-signed defensive tackle Justin Ellis last week, but that’s not stopping them from gauging interest in defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh.
