Looking to break a three-game losing streak, the Raiders once again got off to a slow start. After forcing a punt on defense, starting quarterback Derek Carr threw an interception on just the second play from line of scrimmage. Carr missed last game with a back injury. Raiders add a linebacker to the active roster

The Oakland Raiders added a linebacker to their active roster Saturday morning. General manager Reggie McKenzie announced that the team has signed linebacker Shilique Calhoun to the active roster. Calhoun was originally selected by the Raiders in the third round (75th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he totaled five tackles, 0.5 sacks and one pass defensed in 10 games played before suffering a knee injury last year. The Oakland Raiders teamed up with fellow Bay Area teams San Francisco 49ers, Oakland A’s, San Jose Earthquakes, San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks and the Golden State Warriors to provide relief to the devastating fires in the North Bay.
