The Oakland Raiders continued to overhaul the defensive side of their roster, signing cornerback Leon Hall.

The veteran cornerback spent his first nine seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before making stops with the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. New Raiders defensive coordinator Paul Guenther served as his coach with the Bengals in 2014 and 2015.

Hall has played in 142 games (108 starts), totaling 563 tackles, 27 interceptions with three touchdowns, 115 passes defensed, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

He was originally drafted in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Michigan.

A native of Vista, Calif., Hall played all four seasons at Michigan from 2003-06. He earned consensus All-American honors as a senior in 2006, leaving as the school’s record holder with 43 passes defensed.
