The Oakland Raiders signed fullback Keith Smith in free agency, and have now made another move at the fullback position.
General manager Reggie McKenzie and head coach Jon Gruden traded fullback Jamize Olawale to the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, while also exchanging a sixth-round pick (192nd overall) to Dallas in exchanged for their fifth-round selection (173rd overall).
The move now gives the Raiders two fifth-round picks just a couple of days after they had none. They also acquired one by trading return man Cordarrelle Patterson to the New England Patriots.
Trading Olawale also saves the Raiders over $1.6 million against the cap.
