The Oakland Raiders continue to mold their roster, trading wide receiver and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson to the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Barstool Sports “Pardon My Take” Podcast first reported the trade.

Patterson’s biggest contribution on the field in his career comes from his kick returns and electrifying sped as a wide receiver.

The speedy wideout played in all 16 games for the Raiders last season, hauling in 31 catches for 309 yards and adding 121 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

NFL Media is reporting that the trade puts the Raiders back into the fifth round as part of their compensation.

It still is not known which sixth round pick the Raiders gave up, as they had six of them before the trade. The move also frees up over $3 million in cap space for the Raiders.
