The Oakland Raiders kept their active Thursday going by adding some defensive backfield help.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that the Raiders have signed safety Marcus Gilchrist to a one-year deal.

Gilchrist replaced Corey Moore as the starter for the Houston Texans last year, starting 13 games and recording 56 tackles, one sack, an interception and one forced fumble just one year after tearing his patellar tendon in 2016.
The 29-year-old safety is a former second-round pick of the Chargers and has 11 interceptions in his career. He also played two seasons for the New York Jets.
