New Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is used to having an old-school fullback on his roster, and it appears he went out and got one he wanted. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Raiders have signed former Cowboys fullback Keith Smith to a two-year deal.
The #Raiders and FB Keith Smith have agreed to terms on a 2-year worth $4.2million, source said.

Smith will become the lead blocker for Marshawn Lynch and newly-signed Doug Martin, but he will also contribute on special teams. New Raiders special teams coach Rich Bisaccia left the Cowboys to join Gruden in Oakland.
The Raiders also made sense for Smith so that he can be closer to home, where he went to school at San Jose State.
The four-year veteran began his career as a linebacker before making a successful move to fullback two years ago.
