New Raiders head coach Jon Gruden continues to shape his staff, reportedly adding wide receiver coach Edgar Bennett Friday, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.

Bennett has spent his entire 13-year coaching career with the Green Bay Packers — first as running backs coach (2005-2010), then a wide receivers coach (2011-2014) and offensive coordinator (2015-2017).

With the Packers, Bennett maximized returns from budding stars Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Randall Cobb, and most recently, Davante Adams. In 2011, it was his receiving squad that hauled in 38 touchdown passes, the second most by any group of receivers in NFL history.

Bennett will work with new offensive coordinator Greg Olson and Gruden to help right an offense that struggled to find any consistency in 2017.
