It took almost six quarters, but Oakland-native Marshawn Lynch got his first touchdown as a member of the Oakland Raiders in the team’s home debut against the New York Jets.
Following a muffed punt by the Jets just before the end of the first half, offensive coordinator Todd Downing called three-straight rushes by Beast Mode to get him into the end zone for his first score in the Silver & Black.
The score was also his first since Nov. 2015, when he was a member of the Seattle Seahawks.
The touchdown gave the Raiders a 21-10 lead heading into halftime.
